Chocolate Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal
I don't know about you, but I'm always craving a sweet breakfast--pancakes, waffles, even chocolate! I was inspired by RD Joy Bauer's recipe for regular banana chocolate oatmeal but wanted to pump up the flavor and the health benefits. This recipe is loaded with tons of heart healthy and cholesterol lowering ingredients--oats, cocoa powder and even cinnamon! This recipe is a little sweet, and a little chocolatey and sure to please. You may even forget you are eating breakfast! To make this recipe, I used instant oatmeal however feel free to use old fashioned oats and add your own cinnamon and sugar. To do this you'd need 1/2 cup oats, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp sugar.
